Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens

The Royal Exhibition Building is the largest item in Museum Victoria's collection, and has been listed as a World
Heritage Site in 2004. The adjoining Carlton Gardens represents the nineteenth century Gardenesque style, highlighting parterre garden beds, significant avenues including the southern carriage drive and 'Grand Allée', the path system, specimen and clusters of trees, two small lakes and three fountains.
